Jim believes life is a spiritual journey. His was a naval aviator who flew over 100 combat missions during the Vietnam War and a teaching tennis pro while attending seminary until he was ordained in 1976. During more than 40 years of ministry, he pioneered two churches, served three additional congregations, and was an executive vice president at the world headquarters of his religion at Unity Village, Missouri.
His writing career began with poetry and magazine articles. He was a columnist for Unity Magazine® (now Spirituality & Health®: A Unity Publication) for over 20 years and has written 16 books exploring the spiritual life. These are some of the facts of his life, but the truth is Jim Rosemergy is an explorer of spirituality, filled with wonder and curiosity and convinced that seeing the kingdom of God requires spiritual awakening and entering the kingdom requires becoming like a child.
